das bin ich...

mit dem malen habe ich 2018 begonnen.

zunächst habe ich mich mit ausmalbildern beschäftigt. das wurde mir aber schnell zu langweilig und zu begrenzt. ich wollte freier und kreativer malen und mich künstlerisch ausdrücken. 

so kam ich, über das bemalen von steinen, die ich am rhein gesammelt habe, zu beginn der corona-krise, zur punktmalerei, dem mandala-dotting. 

die anfänge kannst du dir hier anschauen. 

schnell wurde mir jedoch auch der platz auf den steinen zu gering (obwohl die steine immer größer und schwerer wurden), und ich begann mit dem malen mit acryl auf leinwand und malpappe. 

die muster entwickele ich selbst, bzw. sie entwickeln sich im laufe der arbeit an dem bild. viele dot-art-künstler inspirieren mich dabei.

die größe meiner bilder variiere ich jetzt; sie reichen von kleinen 10 cm x 10 cm auf malpappe bis 100 cm x 70 cm auf leinwand (...so far...). aber auch hier ist noch luft nach oben und ich plane auch noch größere projekte.

that´s me...

i started painting in 2018.

in the beginning i dealt with coloring pictures, but that quickly became too boring and too limited for me. i wanted to paint more freely and creatively and express myself artistically.

this is how i started colouring stones  i collected on the rhine at the beginning of the corona crisis. that led me to mandala dotting. you may watch the beginnings here.

however, the space on the stones quickly became too small for me (even though the stones were getting bigger and heavier) and I started painting with acrylic on canvas and cardboard. 

i develop the patterns myself, or they develop during the work on the image. many dot art artists inspire me.

i now vary the size of my pictures; they range from small 10 cm x 10 cm on cardboard to 100 cm x 70 cm on canvas (... so far ...). but here, too, there is still room for improvement and I am also planning larger projects.
